Hello, and welcome to President’s Corner

As the new President, I’m honored to lead the Chapter during my 2010 – 2011 term of office. The Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, Chapter 611 of the National Management Association (NMA) was chartered in 1997. We changed our name a few years ago to properly reflect the essence of our organization…leadership. Our focus is on building leaders through professional development training and Executive Board / Committee Chair leadership opportunities, where a variety of skill sets can be nurtured. We actively look for Executive business leaders involvement with the Chapter and promote opportunities for the Chapter to support the needs of our business.

We conduct Certified Manager training and have seen a steady interest in this certification program. We offer NMA’s Faciliskill training, and will be hosting NMA Leader Lab training events in the future.

Our community outreach includes participation at three area Ronald McDonald Houses, Burlington County Habitat for Humanity projects, and the Juvenile Diabetes Walk-a-thon to name a few. Proceeds from our annual golf tournament support Samaritan Hospice and Wounded Warriors organizations.

Most of the Chapter’s leaders are new in their roles. I’m excited that we are “raising the bar” by creating more leadership opportunities for our members. LMLA Chapter 611…it’s where you want to be!
